Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a small country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south. Since the 1980's the country became a popular nature travel destination and has a well-established system of national parks and protected areas, covering around 23.4% of the country's land area which is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.

The fishing too has benefitted from the country's nature protection policies. Tarpon, one of the world's greatest sportfish, is prolific along the Caribbean Coast of the country.
